Platform Update: v1.2.8

We’ve added a lot of great stuff to Atmosphere with v.1.2.8, most notably support for cellular modems starting with the Digi XBee Cellular LTE CAT 1 and the Digi XBee Cellular LTE-M/NB-IoT. We’ve also extended the Atmosphere Studio Element Library to include variants for sensors, so you can work with a version of a supported sensor if it’s specific to a board or shield you’re using. Lastly, we’ve introduced a significant addition to our Developer Hub with the new Hardware Selection section, which includes detailed information on all supported development kits and boards used in Atmosphere, ranging from peripheral and pin mapping information to programming instructions.

Be sure to update your Atmosphere mobile app and Atmosphere IoT Agent to the latest versions to take advantage of all the great new features and improvements that have made their way into the platform. For the full release notes of all updates that have been added, see our detailed breakdown below.
