The v.1.3.3 version for the Atmosphere IoT Platform is live! This release introduces support for Zigbee networks and the Digi XBee3 Zigbee Mesh Kit through the XBee3 Zigbee element, available within the Atmosphere Studio Element Library. Using the Zigbee Mesh Kit, you can send data across devices over Zigbee on a custom Zigbee mesh network and have the data forwarded to Atmosphere. We’ve added a guide on how to create such a network, so check out the docs to get started building your own Zigbee mesh network with Atmosphere.
We’ve also expanded on our LoRa support with the addition of the MikroElektronika LoRa 2 Click board, which works exclusively with The Things Network on Atmosphere. We’ll be adding materials in the coming days on getting started with LoRa and Atmosphere so stay tuned as we provide more docs on using the LoRa 2 Click and setting up Atmosphere to talk to The Things Network.
Lastly, we’re welcoming our second Cypress Semiconductor board into Atmosphere’s growing library of supported hardware with the PSoC 6 Wi-Fi BT Prototyping Kit, and have a few demo projects available for users to get started working on it quickly and easily.
